Register Early
Events fill up fast — especially popular tracks. Register via the organizer's website. SCCA opens registration monthly.
Prep Your Car
Fresh brake fluid, good pads, proper tire pressure, remove loose items. Most events require a tech inspection.
Get a Helmet
Snell SA2015 or SA2020 rated. Some events offer loaners. Budget $200–$400 for a quality lid.
Show Up & Have Fun
Arrive early, attend the driver's meeting, listen to your instructor, and focus on smooth inputs. Speed comes with experience.
